Turkey Youth Federation will organize youth exchange Project on volunteerism between 01-08 May 2016 in Ankara. There will be 40 young people from 6 countries (Turkey, Romania, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria and Greece)The main point of our project is volunteering ; Europeancitizenshipandsocialdialogarethebasicelementsthatwewanttofocus on. Theaim of ourproject istoincreaseboththequalityandthenumber of voluntary work and to streng then the perceptionof youth about active citizenship.The objectives of the projects;• To encourage youths to join voluntary work• To increase the number of voluntary work• To strengthen the perception of society about voluntary activities• To make ‘Europeancitizenship’ clear in abroad perspective by emphasizing activecitizenship and participation of youths.• To figureout the current voluntary work system and to develop activities for improving it.• To disseminate Youth in Action programme among youths by raising awareness about voluntary work.• To strengthen Europen cooperation of ourfederationandthememberassociations.• To increase interest and participation of youth sand youth organizations in EVS.• To emphasize the contribution of voluntarywork in interculturaldialog, intercultural variety, intercultural comunication and learning.• To disseminate opportunities for youths in Erasmus+ programme and to make them visible.• To carryout an internationalwork on December 5thWorld VolunteerDay in Ankara.Using non-formaleducationmethods, We plan toincreasetheknowledgeandawareness of participantsaboutvolunteeringactiveparticipationandactivecitizenship. Inadditiontothese, wemeantopreventdiscrimination, xenophobiaandprejuidicesaboutnewculturesbyimprovinginterculturalcommunicationandlearningskills of themusingworkshop, flashmob, drama andsimulationtechniques.Duringtheproject, theparticipantswillhave a chancetogetknowledgeaboutvoluntaryworktheoretically, toexchangeideaswiththeothersandto be experienced in practicalwork in thisfield
