EVS volunteer will be integrated in the organisational structure of FCV and S&G and will be actively involved in the bilateral EVS project between Spain and Turkey "Voices for Peace’. Main objectives of the EVS project ‘Volunteering for Peace’ are:- Encourage networking among NGOs and young leaders from Catalonia, from the European Union and from the South and East Mediterranean countries, supporting the creation of sustainable long term partnerships.- Promote the international mobility and active participation of young people, including young people with fewer opportunities, willing to improve their social, intercultural, language, job and media literacy skills.- Promote a better understanding of concepts such as European citizenship, volunteering, Culture of Peace, non formal learning and intercultural learning and Peace in Media at local and regional level.- Contribute to the design, implementation and evaluation of capacity building activities and awareness raising initiatives, both at local and international level, on the topics of non violent conflict transformation and peace building.- Improve the FCV media, public relations and external comunication strategiesOne volunteer from Spain will be in Ankara and one volunteer from Turkey will be in Barcelona in both hosting organisations on this project S&G and FCV
