Volunteering: first step towards solidarity is a 22 months project that involve 28 young people from 4 different areas of Europe, Africa and South America (Italy, Portugal, Cape Verde, Argentina). The exchange of youngsters gave the possibility at the project to reach its aim; create a global and boundless solidarity starting from the a first experience of volunteering. he volunteers will attend their voluntary service in the mentioned countries in order to support the local organizations to develop more and better their services for the communities, giving and added value through their passion, their capabilities and competences. Creating a new language or artistic workshop for children and teenager, running multimedia programmes such web tv or web radio, developing non formal education for children at the primary school to dicuss about intercultural dialogue and promoting active citizenship and human rights among young people is the way to get in contact with new generations and involve them in the net of solidarity and mutual understanding.
