Project "Volunteering as a factor inspiring conciliation and integration" will take place in Gdańsk (Poland) and is adressed to young creative people from Europe who are open to meeting with the diversity of European culture, new experiences and challenges. The task of the volunteers during the program will support the work of coordinators in the field of youth cooperation projects in Central-Eastern and Western Europe. They will make new partnerships and support projects relating to European issues, particularly in the aspects such as human rights, civil society development, the fight against discrimination, education and European awareness, multiculturalism and reflection on European history and the history of its countries. An important element of the work of volunteerswill be learning and creative collaboration with local NGOs and educational institutions as well as the active youth from Tri-City. Volunteers will be supported by the program team of DMK. They will get their work-places with all necessary office equipments. catering and accommodation DMK (to be provided for the duration of volunteering full board and accommodation in your own room) will enable the volunteers to achieve these goals and objectives during the program. Accomodation in a single room and full board will be provided for volunteers. As a result, all above mentioned conditions will enable the volunteers to achieve the goals and priorities of the project.At the end of the project, volunteers will increase their knowledge of European issues, European cultural diversity and specific aspects of the process of building a civil society. In addition, thanks to the new wider point od view gained through participation in EVS, volunteers will do a significant step towards understanding the mechanisms of social and other processes in multicultural Europe. Finally, volunteers will improve their practical skills of Project Managementand Leadershil. Also language skills and new friends from all over the world will be a valuable experience.
