Our project will involve a volunteer, born in Guadaloupe but living in France, in the activities organised by the association of Compagnons Bâtisseurs for the inclusion and the accompanying of mental disabled people.The volunteer will take part in these activites under the frame of the European Voluntary Service.The volunteer, Amandine Icheck, will do her EVS project for twelve months, starting on 1st October 2016. During this period she will live in Marche-en-Famenne (Luxembourg province) but by taking part in the week-ends and journeys CBB organize for disabled people, she will have the opportunity to discover different parts of Belgium and also some places abroad.The volunteer will be involved in the promotion, the preparation, the animation and the evaluation of the collective activities organised for the accompanying of adults with mental disabilities. At the moment CB association organises each year between18 and 20 week-ends focused on the integration and inclusion of adult disabled people.During holidays two journeys of 8 days are also organised in Belgium with foreigners volunteers who help and supervise the disabled participants. During the summer, other two journeys usually take place abroad. The target public of these activities is very wide: it includes teenager volunteers, adults, students, workers, disabled people and their families as well.The volunteer will work 30 hours per week, 5 days per week. A big part of these hours will be spent during the week-ends and journeys but obviously she will recover time during the week.
