Diversity instead of simplicity – intercultural learning in Jugendwerk is a learning project for 12 months in the nonprofit organizationJugendwerk der AWO Wuerttemberg.The European Volunteer Alaeddine Kandil from Tunesia will have his working place in the office of Jugendwerk der AWO Wuerttemberg (Center of Stuttgart). The volunteer will be active in the field of intercultural learning, will have the opportunity to develop his own project in the area of mobility of young Europeans and European awareness.Alaeddine is an active volunteer at his Sending Organization from Tunesia and he will contribute with his experience todevelop his own project in the frame of Diversity instead of simplicity – intercultural learning in Jugendwerk , which is part of asustainable strategy of intercultural opening of the youth organization.The aim is to help with the integration of young people with a migration background and to establish local awareness of culturaldiversity as potential and chance to our society.Alaeddine will be involved in several integration projects for young people with different social, cultural and regionalbackgrounds, and will contribute to the networking of the volunteers in Baden-Wuerttemberg/Stuttgart. He will be supported by a pedagogical team leader and tutor, to help him to implement his own ideas in different type of projects. There will be methods used from the diversity conscious international youth work and out of Europe-conscious education.
