The project focuses on the need to create a Vocational and Educational Training (VET) network that can be used by national agents in order to discuss and work together on vested interests in various fields. The idea behind the project is to promote the production of knowledge and stimulate developmental work. The project also encourages innovative training methods and initiatives for new policies in the field of VET. The network will provide information and research on all aspects of school-based learning, work place experiences, and the link between these and the labour market. A web-site will be launched giving regular up-dates on the project and experiences from the countries in the partnership. The expected results are the development of a quality VET system in partner countries and other Member States, and the publication of a Good Practice manual. The VET-network will ultimately serve as an international knowledge bank for researchers, professionals and others interested in the field of Vocational Training.
