The aim of our project is to establish bilingual education in our school - with English as the language of science to improve the communication skills of students and teachers. Starting from primary level, our pupils are taught in English thus bilingual education is a suitable method to support the students of senior classes adequately. This in turn will enable the further expansion of cooperation with our Polish partner school and facilitate the exchange of pupils and teachers. Both aims are already anchored in our school concept. So far, bilingual education takes place in elective courses. With three participants of our school from the fields of mathematics, physics and history, we have the chance to impart knowledge of different disciplines bilingually. The execution of our project is based on self-initiation and promises a consistent implementation . Through training, seminars and an active exchange with the English counterparts, the bilingual teaching methods should be used in various departments of our school. We are going to create a basis for permanent bond for the school year 2015/16 with the help of final evaluations. Our goal, building more school partnerships in Europe, should be supported by the exploration of eTwinning.
