PROJECT
FINISHED
The changes in recent years and the needs arising from them mobilize us to seek continuing education , increase in our efficiency and ways of more harmonious cooperation. Functioning in a large public educational institution , which is a direct receiver of the growing demands of our time , we realize the need for structural changes in all areas that affect our teaching.
Our project stems from the vision of creating a collaborative community ,oriented to European standards , which will satisfy our need for professional development and continuous improvement of our educational environment . At the same time, we realize our students' need for differentiated educational standards , for linking school subjects with modern tools tailored to their interests and future requirements. Thus, through this constant self-evaluation and needs analysis we decided on two areas most requiring improvement : participatory management and cooperation, both among members of the staff and with the head of the organization, and strengthening of our teaching with modern technology tools.
Our goal is also to strengthen the core group of European programs and we are therefore aiming at the training of 13 members of the teaching staff in two activities undertaken in summer months , so that the smooth operation of the school program will not be impeded. The trainees will act as multipliers of results, with a view to long-term benefits of a lasting effect on the entire teaching staff .
The first activity aims to help strengthen management capacity, which is particularly needed in a group of teaching staff with many members like ours. It will help fostering greater responsibility for the collective operation of the school, in determining the best methods of organization, planning and activities coordination and will reinforce the need for a participatory management system. It will improve the skills of crisis management and foster collaboration with other educational organizations.
The second activity relates to the acquisition of skills , development of creativity in the use of technology tools and their integration into teaching. It will foster a positive attitude to the use of technology and improve practical cooperation in the development and sharing of educational material .
In conjunction with the programs already implemented in our school , this form of training will serve as a creative renewal base with long-term gains which will be constantly evaluated and disseminated in the local community.
