"URBAN BEATS" unites youngsters from Germany, Czech Republic, Sweden and Turkey. The 40 participants will deal in a creative way - within this multilateral exchange - with the subjects sustainable spatial development, urban open space, with several facets of European Identity and European Culture as well as public participation possibilties for young adults. "URBAN BEATS" focusses on active media work that is both process- and product-oriented. Our particular interest is the development of authentic results, particularly of public relations (Blog//Film //Photography//Dance) to provide the young people and their statements with a thoroughly efficient platform. It's about, as well in the field of free time activities, a personal examination of individual ways of living and perspektives and a peaceful living together in today's Europe. The active participation of all youngsters in all components (workshops, language animation, daily evaluation, organizing activities, excursions and trips) is an inherent part of the project.
