The project builds on the groundwork laid by the KaČa project financed within the First Call for Proposals of the Programme. The successful partnership from the previous project once again works on enhancing the potential for co-operation in the field of culture and tourism in the cross-border area. This time additional focus is on the field of music and music education, with joint concerts planned as well as many other joint events. Achievements: The improvement of the cultural and social life of a community infl uences the overall quality of life of its population – this was the fact that served as the starting point of the joint project of promoting cultural exchange between the two border towns. The project built on a previous co-operation to expand the off er of culture events in the region and to facilitate the communication between the two communities. A series of joint cultural events was organised on both sides of the border, backed by a trilingual guide fi lled with information on the events, sights and traditions of the region.
