The aim with this project was: “to create and offer Unlimited Learning for all children and students in the partner regions and go from a teaching organisation to a learning organisation.” For the project the following objectives were identified;• Define and try out indicators for a learning organisation• Find out how to organise and manage a learning organisation• Find out how to go from a teaching organisation to a learning organisation• Create sustainable local and European networks• Use ICT as a creative tool in the pedagogical process• Try and evaluate Action Learning (AL) as a method for cross border cooperationA learning organisation needs to be managed by a learning leader. This is our first finding. A non-learning leader will not recruit learning persons and will also suppress a learning attitude eventually. Action Learning can be useful for organising learning groups that help in constant learning, the foundation for a learning organisation. Learning leaders are the core of the learning organisation. Learning management sets the framework for the learning organisation. We believe that we as organisations and as individuals can go from teaching towards a learning orientation and approach by and through constant and structured learning from and with each other as we clearly need to change the perspectives and the attitudes towards learning and teaching in general. In a learning organisation, we are all equal participants and we are all responsible for our own learning. Learning per see, is not transferable but your own inner journey.
