The main aim of the project is to promote the Youth in Action Program and specifically Action 1.1 to the university students in order to encourage them creating projects within Youth Program. We think that through these international projects they can acquire very important skills such as teamwork, leadership, organization and management skills and also the ability to show initiative in challenging circumstances. The participants will also be encouraged to create art based projects for the 2010 European Capital of Culture, Istanbul.The main aims :" To provide a first international experience, " To train in project management; " To provide information about the YOUTH Programme and especially youth exchanges; " To develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude to organise a youth exchange; specifically art based projects for the 2010 European Capital of Culture." To give the opportunity to meet possible partner groups and to make contacts in different countries." The main goal is to train people; a sub-goal is to give the opportunity to find partners.The project will take place in Istanbul between the dates 25/06/2009 -30/06/2009. 32 participants will come together from 8 different countries. Tha particants countries are Portugal, The Czech Republic, Italy, Estonia, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia, and Turkey.
