UNIQUE Year of Learning: Youth on the Learning Move!

Training course “UNIQUE Year of Learning: Youth on the Learning Move!” was the result of successful international cooperation of partners belonging to the UNIQUE Network. We aimed at bringing the European initiative Youth on the Move closer to young people from inclusion groups and local partner organisations. In such a way contributing to the awareness of the rights EU citizens.Training course involved 24 participants from 5 regions of Europe: Elektrenai (LT), Lorca (ES), Ljubljana (SL), Porto (PT) and Magdeburg (DE). Participants of the project were members of partner organisations and representatives who were interested to gain experience of learning mobility in the Youth in Action Programme.During the 8 day programme, participants shared and discovered youth work realities in participating countries, got familiar with benefits and opportunities of European learning mobility, developed intercultural learning and learning-to-learn competences, planned future learning mobility projects. Group dynamic activities and regular reflection time was used to support individual and group learning process. The new European programme for youth, education and sport was presented during the project. Learning was supported with variety of learning-to-learn methods and tools, interactive input sessions, experiential simulation activities, group work, creative presentations, learning badges. Project promoters offered tailor-made support for participants’ active involvement during the preparation and follow-up phases of the projects. Project included variety of on-line media activities to ensure the visibility of the project activities and dissemination of its results.
