Main reasons of the project:- Improving the quality of knowledge of the EU (especially the fundamental right) through multidisciplinary approach and openness to the society - Exiting from the crisis by strengthening the European integration in the field of fundamental rights - Support the training of the PhD students and the young researchers - Natural continuation and achievement of the JM Chair objectivesObjectives pursued:-Improving the quality of research and the innovation stimulation- Strengthening the coherence between researchers, teachers and the teaching methods - Providing training for students to better meet the needs of the labour market- Boost networks already existing with those established in other Members States- Facilitation of the external contacts with the EU institutions - Promoting human rights and informing the general public of the practical possibilities opened by the EURealisation :- international conferences, seminars, round tables- publications series- Doors open days - access to the European data- Centre of Excellence on-line- usage of the different methods of the interactive learning: webinars, e-learning- cooperation with the representatives of the civil society (NGOs, other universities) Expected impact: - Attractiveness of teaching and research on the EU - Strengthen cooperation at the regional, national and international level- Closer links between the UWR and EU institutions - Openness for the local entities and knowledge and culture dissemination of the fundamental rights - Preparation of students for their future career and being active in the democratic society - Access to the research findings for the general public, especially the groups at risk of exclusion - Essential stage to consider establishment of the european doctoral studies (European doctor's degree in Law) and in the future, within the Erasmus + program, of the European Interdisciplinary Doctoral Studies (including law and economics).
