Ulster Young Farmers - Global Challenges for European Youth

"Global Challenges for European Youth" is a week long exchange programme between the Young Farmers Clubs of Ulster and the Latvia 4H. The exchange is a way to make young people aware and develop their knowledge about two important issues - Youth unemployment and climate change. We will use workshops, discussions, visits, team building activities and debates to extend young peoples awareness about climate change, unemployment and enterprise aiming to increase their ability to make informed lifestyle choices in regards to these issues.The programme will involve 20 young people aged 16-18 years old and 4 leaders and will take place in county Antrim and Belfast, Northern Ireland from the 15th to the 22nd August 2011.
