Participation in the language, methodical training courses, possibility to observe the work of modern English schools would be a great opportunity to improve teachers’ qualifications in the language area, knowing new cultures, learning innovative methods of working with students and using new technologies (computers, interactive boards, the Internet, etc.) It is also an important opportunity to meet new people and exchange experiences with teachers from other countries.

Short description of the outcome and benefits of the project:
Teachers improving qualifications will influence school’s quality of work. Learning new teaching methods, expanding knowledge and abilities to work with new technologies will help the teachers to work more effectively. The project will make students’ lessons more attractive, students will be motivated better and this will show in higher students’ results. Improving language skills will allow to use English sources of information and active participation in international project where English is essential. Offering extra classes in English for students can be very important for parents who will choose a school for their child. Sharing the knowledge gained during the project and the courses will let other teachers adjust the school curriculum to European standards. Contacts with other teachers and students met during the courses in England can lead to new projects and cooperation. Mutual exchange of experience, using new techniques and methods will help some teachers, students and parents to become more open-minded to other cultures and they will see their local community as a part of a big European community. Promoting the project on the school’s website will encourage others to cooperate internationally and exchange their experiences.
