The TVJ project aims at developing a methodology based upon Virtual Communities (a Virtual Job Club) to both motivate and assist jobseekers in their job search. The project will result in a study presenting good practice in the development of virtual communities; a handbook specific to the use of virtual communities and ICT (targeted to organisations working with and supporting jobseekers); an interactive web-based guide targeted at jobseekers and a web platform containing the job-seeking guide, a range of job-seeking tools and a communication forum for job-seekers. Project beneficiaries include job-seekers in all participating countries (employed and unemployed); public and private organisations assisting job-seekers; guidance and counselling bodies and decision-makers. Dissemination will comprise the establishment of a dedicated website, the publication of project specific materials and the hosting of a series of conferences and project workshops. Dissemination will target two main groups, namely, jobseekers and decision-makers.
