The "Officina Creativa Interculturale" is an Association of Social Promotion active since 2008 in the city of Palermo.It operates in childhood and multicultural education sector and adopt a non-formal and informal learning methodology.The project TREE - Enjoy Together Evs is promoted by three different groups:-l'associazione "Officina Creativa Interculturale" (Italy - host organization);-ProAtlântico - Associação Juvenil (Portugal - sending organization)-Koinoniki Anaptyksi Neon / Social Youth Development (Greece - sending organization)The EVS project was created with the intention of:- Stimulating European citizenship through meetings in multicultural contexts;- stimulating social relationships with the team work;- promoting the learning of new languages through workshops to be carried out regularly in the Kindergarden;- promoting an exchange of practices related to the environment and teaching methods connected to the nature and the outdoors.The project will last six months, from 1 September 2016 to 1 March 2017 and will involve two volunteers, from Portugal and Greece, interested in intercultural education with children and adults, and Italian immigrants.Activities with children, young people and adults from different countries, will be aimed at enhancing the languages, cultures and skills of volunteers, stimulating their educational and personal growth, their ability to contribute proactively to project.The results and impact expected are connected to the spread of a European sensibility among young people of the local community and of the international context; the presence of volunteers from Europe will be a source of enrichment for those involved in the activities of the association. The attention given to the environment and naturalist practices will communicate a more healthy and respectful lifestyle, through educational activities with children.These activities will be documented and shared with the local community and the European Union.
