Our students learn masonry, especially the laying of blocks and bricks ... They only have very few (if any) opportunities to cut or masonry stones ... or working with lime. According to professionals of the field, the QUEST for workers QUALIFIED in the establishment of the "NATURAL STONE" is IMPORTANT. There are NO SPECIALISTS. We know a general phenomenon of devaluation of manual work which leads to a shortage of skilled hands work. This is the case for the "Masonry" and especially natural stone implementation. This project will enable the student to benefit from European experience that will be beneficial from the point of view of the acquisition of professional skills, human and cultural and competences. Experience is a great asset to the employability of the young person in Belgium and Europe. This project will enable the student to complete his training and realize their career plans. Students will stay 3 WEEKS: - A week in a teaching center (including educational visits) - Two-week externship The project should enable to acquire and implement basic knowledge and practices in the size and installation of natural stone for achieving inner and/or external masonry work . During their stay, they also meet with producers and industry professionals. The project will enable the school to shine at European and local level. It will also create a good community of practice that will meet the demands of the professional world that is constantly changing. The sending and hosting partners mutually benefit from these exchanges. In addition, this experience provides the host partner an opportunity to find a new collaborator among students. This project aims to build professional relationships both at the level of the teachers of the institution and students.
