This project aims to provide a means of bridging the growing employment and skills gap within the road traffic industry. It intends to develop a training programme that would lead to a trans-national vocational qualification that would have an EU-wide validation and impact for those that participate in training activities and who are employed («traffic staff») in the transport sector. For the purposes of this project a set of modules are to be developed in English, which would be then translated to other partner-country languages and modified according to local needs. The end-products include several teaching-training modules, assessment packs, a glossary, guidelines for tutors, which will be in electronic and «hard» form, as well as the qualification per se. Part of the training will take place by recourse to ICT web-based sites and media.
