The establishment of one internet-based joint platform for cooperation of stakeholders and RDI institutions in the agri-food chain in the Somogy, Baranya and Osječko-baranjska counties and a joint strategic proposal, all based on the research conducted in the frame of the project covering the crop-to-food chain from crop production, feeding, animal chain, food safety and traceability, food industry innovations in product and procedure development as well as cooperation of innovative organisations. Achievements: The workshops organised within this project aimed at building stronger relationships between all the actors in the food sector by the exchange of best practices and experiences. The project put special focus on initiating and improving the connections of the production sector with the scientifi c and innovation centres of the region, so the workshops produced written materials mapping out the possibilities for mobilising the potential of the co-operation between the agrofood sector and RDI, forming the foundations for a future joint development strategy.
