The projects scope is to unleash dynamic economic activities and employment opportunities in the light of worsening of the socio-economic situation surfacing from the global crisis. Investing in the human capital of the area, the project intents to promote networking establish synergies between the Academic Institutions and the business community and create more opportunities for young people and women to enter the labour market. Expected Results: The proposed intervention focuses on the stimulation of entrepreneurship in all sectors of the economy and deals with the restructuring of the economic model, ensuring the competitiveness and the economic development of the cross border area. More specifically, the expected results of the project are: 1. Integration to labor market and enhancement of self employment of 200 young scientists in the region. 2. Establishment of a permanent sustainable "support structure" in the framework of the Priority Axis. 3. Organization of five short-term training programs for specialization of skills of young scientists.
