The main result of the transFAIR project is the adjustment of the FAIRstart training program for foster parents and staffs working with children placed outside home. The training material is free of charge – and accessible if you have an internet connection. The program offers the target group the opportunity to improve their professional care giving skills for younger children in public care. The best results of caregiving (brain development, social functions and - later on success in school and education) are achieved if you improve caregiving practices for young children - from birth to age three. This is why the program focuses on the youngest. However, the theory and practice are also very useful when working with older children and youth. The full program contains training sessions, a handbook, a game - the FAIRship game - and other pedagogic tools. Furthermore within the framework of the project methodical work on recognition of staffs learning income has been made and a model for transfer of innovation has been developed. Please find the training program on www.fairstart-train4care.com
