The project will develop a training package and undergo a series of training workshops with regard to Training SMEs for e-Business.A course of continuing training in e-Business will be developed covering topics such as; Information Systems, Electronic Communication, Operational Management and Information & Project Management, to be presented through a variety of learning environments to include presentations, workshops and distance learning.Further support modules will be developed to provide e-Business simulation exercises and demonstrations of training tools with all materials and support tools then being placed on a dedicated learning platform (internet based) creating a flexible/open learning environment for SME management and staff.A series of three 'training of trainers' workshops will be held by the project to allow introduction to and exploration of the e-learning platform and a further three courses held directly with SME personnel. An additional 30 demonstration sessions are planned with individual SMEs across the partner countries.The project will further establish the learning platform as a future Resource Centre for e-Business, providing a common environment for the exchange of ideas and an access site for relevant training.Beyond the development of the training tools and materials, a series of posters, postcards and multilingual leaflets will be produced and circulated and articles submitted to relevant press and journals, to further raise awareness of the project results. Production of an electronic newsletter and selected mailings are also planned along with the hosting of a series of transnational seminars (to take place throughout the lifetime of the project).
