TRAINING ON STAGE – A New Work Experience Model with Skills Evaluation in Performing Arts
The TRAINING ON STAGE project aims to develop a model for skills evaluation for young people having undertaken ‘work experience’ in performing arts companies, with a view to improving career opportunity in the performing arts sector. The project will further promote the employability of the target group. Project partners will begin by undergoing a survey on existing job profiles and related skills requirements. Beyond this, the project will develop methodology for skills evaluation with young people both before and after undertaking ‘work experience’ in performing arts companies. The project will further develop a series of guidelines (handbook and software) for use with the developed methodology in working with the target group, with all project results being made available in EN, FR, DE, IT, RO & PL. The primary target groups of the project include students, educational drop-outs and young people in transition to the labour market. Dissemination will comprise the establishment of a dedicated project website, the publication of printed materials, regular mailings to relevant stakeholders and the hosting of national and international seminars.
