-Project context and background:Our project aimed to inform the youth workers and youth trainers about nonviolent Communication and Nonviolent Actions and to work in these areas. As Platform of Human Rights Educators implementing studies about non-violence and non-violent struggle, wants to add international dimension to its work and equip youthworkers about non-violent communication concept and work to cope with violence and to disseminate the usage of non-violent communication in youthwork.At the same time, we will also work on Non-violent Actions concept that youthworkers will adopt the usage and implementation of non-violent actions, role in influencing social policies and advocacy and also impact of this actions in society and acquire competence to use these tools.With the activities held during the project, the young people and participating organizations will be affected directly and they will develop competences on non-violent actions and also non-violent communication. Besides that, the participating organisations with the activities held by them, they will acquire competences to implement projects about non-violent communication and non-violent.We want to achieve following aims with our project:- Promiting non-violent struggle in the society- Reduce the susceptibility to violence and crime rate among youngsters- Promote non-violent action as a method as a means of influencing policies among young people- To encourage young people to use non-violent action methods for preventing social conflicts- Improve the quality of training activities carried out in Youth WorkParticipant Number and Profile :Our project will be implemented with 28 participants ( 2 per country ) with 4 trainers. The participants will be consisted of youth workers who are supported by their organisations and who want to implement training activities and who has competences and motivation to implement such activities. Also the youth workers who have not conduct a training or implemented a training in youth work, but worked as project coordinator and want to gain trainer competences and motivated to work on non-violent communication and non-violent actions.Description of Activities:Our activity will be held as Mobility of Youthworkers ( Training Course ) in Ankara in between the dates ( 5-11 October 2016 ) with 28 participants and 4 trainers from 14 different program countries (Estonia, France, Sweden, Italy, Latvia, Hungary, Malta, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Spain, Netherlands, Croatia and Turkey).Methodology of the activities :The methodology of the training will be based on non-formal education methods such simulation games, role-play, visual presentations, group work. Meanwhile, the platform will be created for common learning of participants and the learning will based on exchange of practices and thoughts between the participants.Project results :The participants will organize 4-day training on non-violent communication and non-violent actions themed after their return to their home countries. There will be also a booklet about trainer competences non Non-Violent Actions and Non-violent communication. There will be a trainer network who can implement trainings on Non-violent Actions and Non-violent Communication.The envisaged impact on project :Our participants will have a capacity to deliver a training on non-violent communication and non-violent actions. The participants also gain ICT competences during online training courses. After the project, the participating organizations will reach a capacity to use non-violent actions on their advocacy work for influencing policies. With the trainings participants will implement their local, reduce the susceptibility to violence among youngsters aged between 18-30 and they will be able to use non-violent actions and they will use advocacy influencing policies and they will be able to use non-violent actions. Potential long-term benefits of the project:The participants who will join our project non-violent actions and non-violent communication and they will disseminate the results of the training. With these activities, the susceptibility to violence among youngsters will decrease and they will be able to use non-violent actions for advocacy as a tool for influencing policies.
