Our center is located in Iniesta's village (province of Cuenca) which is placed in the mid-eastern part of the region of The Manchuela. We belong to an eminently rural environment with the social, economic and educational characteristics that it carries.
The principal aims raised initially, and that we have valued in a very positive form for our pupils are:
- To develop professional specific competences of the IT sector (Information and Communication Technologies - ICT) in countries of the rest of Europe so that they know the current situation of their professional field to European level.
- To take ideas that could stimulate the local labour market and to promote the enterprising attitudes in our environment.
- To promote the development of the own autonomy for the development of practices in companies.
With this project, 2 pupils of 2 º course of the Formative Cycle of MicroIT Systems and Networks have been able to carry out their formation in Job Centers in companies of Italy.
The activities completed are reflected in the formative program and I summarize them later:
- Set IT equipments up, following the processes of the quality system established.
- Take part in the diagnosis and repairing of breakdowns applying technologies of correct maintenance.
- install operating systems and applications following the plan of work and the needs of the client.
- take part in the installation, setting and maintenance of small facilities with services of local network and Internet, reporting the intervention.
- attend the users, solving problems of the exploitation of applications, according to the procedure of the company.
- Design of a web site, investigating the requirements and helping according to the obtained requirements.
Thanks to this project, our pupils have acquired a series of competences that they will end up as the development of our environment and it will help them to be more competent and competitive both on our labour market and the European market, specially in the TIC sector.
The result has been very satisfactory and the effort, career education and work of our pupils has been praised by an offer of work in the company where they did their practices.
