This was a large scale youth worker training project (Erasmus+ - Key Action 1 – Youth Mobility) designed for developing the capabilities of youth workers working with youth in fostering social inclusion using creative tools and methods, through a series of three (3) training sessions and an evaluation meeting. Participants had the know-how or the interest in working with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds (unemployed, marginalized etc.); they were all in the early stages of their careers and had an active interest in using creative tools in youth work (arts, theatre, etc.). Total number of participants – 114. Non-formal educational tools, including theatre tools, team-building, simulations, debates, working groups, evaluation session were the main methods used to deliver the programme. The project was structured in the following way: Three (3) training sessions and one (1) final Evaluation Meeting for representatives of all partner organisations. The project’s main impact is the improved capability of participants (youth workers) in using theatre tools for social inclusion, and the increased capacity of all partner organisations in developing activities to promote such inclusion amongst young people across Europe.
