Context/background of project: The project for trainer development is part of a wider and long-term strategy of development and modernisation in our organization. It will have great impact on trainers ability for effective communication and facilitation during future trainings, but it will also encourage the effective development of working and training processes. Learners and participants will have opportunity to attend trainings and workshops which offer clear, high quality and educative communication and presentation. Objectives of the project: - developing and improving soft skills of trainers in the organization - increase creativity and generating ideas for new ways of teaching - increase awareness for internationality and multicultural working and learning environment - fostering the communication processes and improve the quality of the internal and external communication. - improving and increasing the cooperation between organizations involved in adult education throughout Europe. - exchanging experiences and good practices among people coming from different countries who work in the same field. Number and profile of participants: Two participants which are internal trainers in the organization are included in this application form. They have little experience in doing trainings and attending staff training abroad. They have knowledge in marketing, management, NGO's, education, IT and sustainability. Description of activities (skills to be acquired/improved): Module 1 – Communication and the Science of Kinesics Module 2 – Personal Communication Skills Module 3 – Interpersonal Communication Skills within the Hierarchy Module 4 – Problem Solving Skills Module 5 – Presentation Skills Module 6 – Project Management Skills Module 7 – Negotiation Skills Module 8 – Cumulative Communication Skills and Multi Tracking Methodology to be used in carrying out the project: Staff training consist soft skills simulation implemented within a group instructional setting where participants are given the scope to interact and communicate. The various modules will incorporate a variety of situations and problems which are likely to be encountered in the real world. Active learner participation in role plays confrontation and meetings with an emphasis on speaking, listening comprehension and correct interpretation of body language. Each module will have a content flow: a brief, a model of expected behavior, participant performance, debrief and performance evaluation (trainers guide, observe, listen, evaluate and provide feedback). Results and impact envisaged: - improved trainer's soft skills and competences - strengthened cooperation between the participants from different EU organizations - positive and long-lasting effects on the trainers involved - enhanced intercultural awareness - shared best practices, ideas and materials between participants and colleagues - increased capacity to cooperate on international level - broader understanding of practices, policies and systems in different countries - promotion of the emergence and raising awareness of a European lifelong learning area - promotion of mobility and cooperation - improved language skills Potential longer term benefits: - improved awareness for projects which will reduce the number of low-skilled adults, by increasing incentives for adult training, providing information on access to lifelong learning services, such as non-formal and informal learning and career guidance, and offering tailored learning opportunities to individuals.
