Our school Střední škola umění a designu, stylu a módy a Vyšší odborná škola would like to provide internship opportunities in Milan , the Italian fashion capital , for 32 students, in two turns ( 16-16 people) of the following vocational fields: 8 graphic designers, 10 fashion designers, 8 interior designers and 6 restorers, accompanied by 2-2 teachers. In the project the following hosting partners are participating: - Evolvo Ltd. : Italian host company has a lot of experience in mobility projects , it has a wide partnership network. They have already been interior designers and restorers students, so this is a very good base for us. - AB CREA advertising and graphic design studio hosts our graphic designer students, while - the famous Sonrisa receives our fashion designer students for stage. We believe that three weeks spent in Milan, is a big opportunity for the students of all four professional fields, because there are only a few cities, which dispone with such cultural past and modern lifestyle. As a result, we expect from our students to open their mind, become more self-confident, deepen their language skills - beside a significant professional development. It is important for us to involve socially disadvantaged students, as the 30 % of students are with fewer opportunities. This apprenticeship is an outstanding opportunity for them Our school is committed to the use of ECVET methods , tools and elements, that is why we have applied this system of assessments and recognition. (Please find this documents in the attachments No. 3. ) The main steps of project are the follows: - Preparing the work plan and the content of project together with the hosting partners, filling out the application form. - If the project is approved, we make a contract with National Agencies of Czech Republik (DZS-NAEP), than we inform again the students about the opportunity and select the group of participants. - We give the preparation lessons and arrange the organizational issues of travel. - During the stage (3 weeks in October 2014 and February 2015 ) , we continuously monitor and evaluate the progress of the work plan. - After returning home, we assess the development of students, and disseminate of results . - We close the project and write and present the final reports.
