Content of the Project: Project contains improving the vocational education about Total Quality Management (TQM) by observing the training methods and applications that used in institutions in energy sector. This project is submitted because of the vocational development need of the trainers, who works about TQM, from the Ministry of Energy & Natural Sources - Department of Related and Affiliated Institutions and 13 different Affiliated Institutions. Aims of the Project: - Increasing vocational training capacities of personnel, who are employees of the project owner which prepares national policies about energy, about Total Quality Management, - Adapting TQM approach to the managers of the Ministry with an efficient and successful vocational education, - Saving the national economy by avoiding unnecessary expenditure of public institutions in the energy sector through the quality processes, - Contribute to the national economy by providing the lowest total cost based on customer satisfaction with the quality of the production and management processes. Number and Profile of Participants: There will be 40 participants in the project who are vocational training staff / vocational training managers related with TQM trainings from the project owner and affiliated institutions. Description of the Action: During the project; technical visits organized to the institutions in energy sector which adapted TQM successfully and training companies which trains energy companies in the field of TQM. For a period of 2 weeks; with the technical visits, participants observed the vocational education about TQM in Europe. There were 3 mobility in the project. Mobility dates and countries are; - Germany - 20 participants between 03 - 18 May 2015 - Belgium - 10 participants between 17 April - 02 May 2015 - Portugal - 10 participants between 07 - 22 April 2015 Methodology of the Project Implementation: To use the project budget effectively, to select the participants fairly and to ensure transparency of the selection, a project team was established. Project team take active role in information, selection, evaluation, preparing the reports and dissemination processes of the project and make sure that project activities were carried out according to the schedule. Project team consists of Mr. Hikmet YILMAZ, Mrs. Nurhayat CANTEK?N & Mrs. Aysun OZDEMIR. Expected Results and Impacts of the Project: - Vocational training staff and managers observed the TQM trainings in the energy sector in Europe. - Vocational capacities of training staff who provide training for TQM in the project promoter were increased. - Perspective of managers on increasing the total quality in energy sector has been developed. - Effects of the vocation training about TQM were increased in such a high policy maker in Energy sector.
