The project TOP – Training for Organizing Projects is a project consisting of one training focusing on giving youth workers and members of the partner organisations skills and competences in order to apply for Erasmus+ projects and to learn how they can successfully apply, execute and finalize a project. This need was on forehand expressed by all organizations involved in the project, since they would like to organize a project with support of Erasmus+ subsidy, but they don’t know very well on how to do it.
29 participants from 9 countries were invited to participate: Bulgaria, Lithuania, Croatia, Italy, Portugal, Poland, Latvia, Macedonia and The Netherlands. The activity lasted for six days in Olde Vechte, Ommen, The Netherlands working on the theme project management and rural development through training youth workers in order to give youngsters they work with more chances to participate in further Erasmus+ projects. The training is based on experiential and non-formal learning, using the tools: role play activities, real-life experience, feedback, teamwork and simulation games.
The participants learned how Erasmus+ works and what aspects there are in order to design a project. The participants have the chance to create in an international group a project during this training out of the needs and desires from the young people in their home town. The participants work in an international context in order to apply for a project to Erasmus+ in the nearby future.
