After several years in which our school (Hijas de la Natividad de María - CPR Nuestra Señora del Carmen) placed in Betanzos (a small village of about 13000 inhabitants in the north west of Spain (Galicia)) and with a few possibilities of practising languages has been trying to bring the European dimensioncloser to our staff and, consequently to our students, through the participatión in two multilateral Comenius projects and one MAC project, and now iinmersed in the BEDA program, "ToM: Towards Multilinguism" aims to send our staff to several European institutions (Finland and Italy to carry out Job Shadowing activities, and England and France in the case of structured courses) with the aim of recycling the linguistic knowledge of the staff , and improve their linguistic, social and technological competences. We consider that the opportunity given is unique and essential for the prestige of our institution and its staff. The experiences, both in the case of Job Shadowing as in that of the structured courses, will be good for the educational staff to carry out better educational practice and will have an impact, in last instance, on our students, last goal of our work. All the activities carried out will be monitored in every moment by the Erasmus + Team of the school (chaired by the head teacher of the school), and all the experiences will be disseminated through our website and, whenever necessary, giving lectures in the schools around which ask for it. The resulting material of all the experiences derived from the project will be published on the school-s website and will have open and free access for the school staff, and all those people interested in it.
