Tolerance among young people
Start date: May 1, 2011,

Tolerance among young peopleThe project is an exchange between youngsters from Holland, Bosnia and Macadonia. The groups met each other during the exchange 'civil courage' in 2009. During the exchange in Bosnia, some Macedonian youngsters joined us. It would be great if we can have a trilateral exchange this year.During the last exchange the youngsters asked the dutch a lot about our policies of tolerance of drugs, sexs (gay) and multicultural topics. In their homecountry the Bosnian and Macedonian have meetings about tolerance, especially the Bosnian youngsters with a history of war.The dutch high risk youngsters have to cope with a lack of tolerance in society towards etchnic group. This is the reason why we decided to name our exchange 'Tolerance among young people'.We will share our experiences. The Bosnian about building respect and tolerance through ethnic differences. The Macedonian about their lifes and the dutch group about being a multicultural high risk group in the dutch changing (less tolerance) society. We will also contribute to the dutch society by helping people who are less tolerated in our society.
