This youth exchange with the title "To the rithm of the drums... let's dance for rural Andalucia" will take place from the 2nd until the 9th of July 2016 in the centre for lifelong learning "La Choza de Trasmulas" with the participation of 28 young peoplefrom Italy, France, Latvia and Spain.With this project we want to offer the opportunity to the rural youth in Andalusia to get to know young people fromother countries, to discover new horizons, to strengthen their self esteem and to foster respect and solidarity amoung young peopleas well as the active participation in the local community.In the dance and percussion workshops the young people will be able to experience the musical-corporal expression as a source ofintegral personal development and group growth. This experience will promote creativity and expression, and will allow the participants to learn to take influence in their community and to transform it, acquirering the values of responsability, respect and diversity.In this exchange there will participate as well young people with special needs and others with fewer opportunities. We consider the diversity as a resource and facilitate an inclusive learning process based on the arts and the emotions.The artistic creations will be presented to the local community in a final intercultural event with which we contribute to ruraldevelopment and approach Europe to the rural area in Andalusia.
