UTA at the University of Wroclaw wants to continue to actively develop international cooperation, have updated knowledge about new teaching methods, the use of ICT in teaching and acquire new skills in promoting integration among listeners.The project involves the participation of 10 people selected in the recruitment of the UTA staff in the University of Wroclaw in a 10-day training in London, during which participants will develop and / or acquire competences in 3 macro areas: 1) Integration and social inclusion : – helping students to build the intercultural awareness and communication skills they need to succeed, with a focus on practicalresults; – acquiring new skills and establish an informal cooperation network stretching beyond national borders; – learning how students and civil society in general can influence decision-making depending on their interests;- having a deeper understanding of the changes in the European society and its multiculturalism; - understanding and making sense ofdiversity, and being able to talk about it productively and meaningfully without offence; - learning about European integrations and the inclusion of ethnic minorities. 2) Digital classroom course: - understanding the importance of technology in the classroom; - understanding the needs of learners and teachers; - learning how to set up a Moodle platform: (basic notions); Installing the Moodle on a local computer; Understanding the learning environment; Customising the learning environment (appearance, themes, blocks, etc.); - learning how to create users and assign roles; - setting up your courses; - uploading course information; - enrolling students; - giving instruction to students; - embedding widgets in your course and using media; etc.- assessment and evaluation. 3) New teaching methodologies course:- acquiring new and holistic skills and to find solutions for the modernization of curricula, develop new and more effective teachingmethods, raise the standards, variety and quality of education; - teaching traditional matters through different art disciplines and practical activities; - learning how to engage students in practical learning mechanisms through a participative and a creative approach that could betranslated into involving students in making a movie or animation themselves based on an historic event, in planning a short theatrepiece based on a piece of literature, etc.Through this project we want to give our teachers and instructors the opportunity to improve their language, interpersonal and ICT skills. With the new term, they will have the opportunity to reflect and analyze their own teaching curriculum and the implementation of best practices form the UK. Training in the UK will provide them new skills which they will transmit to their colleagues and students, as well as staff from other UTA in the region.
