Multilateral youth exchange project "THUMBS UP for a job" will take place in Lithuania, Trakai region in July 2014. 26 participants aged 17-25 from Croatia, Slovakia, Italy and Lithuania will gather in Trakai in order to solve the problem of youth unemployment. The most important objective of the project is to help youth to improve the skills that are required when looking for a job or when you want to become more enterprising or establish a workplace by yourself. During various seminars, lectures and practical activities such skills as working in the team, entrepreneurship, widening your comfort zone and positive thinking as well as recognizing your strenghts and weaknesses will be improved. Participants will have an opportunity to learn about other cultures, languages and traditions during the national evenings held by every country participating. After the exchange takes place, an educational video will be made and shared on the Internet. In this way we will share the knowledge we gained throughout all the activities with other young people who face youth unemployment. We hope that not only participants of this project but also other young people, who will be aware of main methods we suggested in the video in order to solve this problem, will become more active and enterprising and will take an initiative in trying to solve youth unemployment problem in their country.
