Against the background of an increasingly globally interconnected working environment it is necessary to prepare pupils to this end. It is therefore all the more important for schools to integrate an international component in their curricula. The project "think global!- conceiving internationalisation as a chance in school education" aims at indentifying and making use of the benefits provided through the internationality and heterogenity of the students engaged in IB schools and adapting those to the demands of the labour market. Often the potential the multilinguality of the students actually provides is disregarded. They have to be made aware of the fact if they make use of their own capacities in this field, this can actually be a competitive advantage on the labour market. Therefore from an early stage onwards we want to work towards the international or European orientation in our students careers. By establishing mobility structures for our staff we want to create an enviroment which paves the way for our students to participate in mobility experiences abroad such as students exchanges, internships abroad or a language courses. Especially for those students who are difficult to reach, who have not relaised their own potentials yet, a mobility abroad during which they leave their everyday environment, can provide a new motivational impetus for better achievements.
