Our 2014 Erasmus + mobility project is part of our development strategy to give our school a genuine European image. Our objective is to improve the quality of our trainings. Since 1998, our ambition, modestly, is to awaken a European consciousness in young people in order to get them ready for their future professional life. We know that today young people in vocational training have to adapt themselves to the new requirements of mobility and flexibility of the European job market. The public targeted will reflect the diversity of the students' families' background as well as the trainings proposed by our vocational school. The participants will be young people in Vocational Training Qualification in cooking and waiters, Higher Vocational Catering Diploma in cooking and restaurant plus Vocational High School Diploma in Hotel Business. 24 participants from 16 to 19. Participants’ objectives: train the participants to use new technologies as a working tool, acquire a linguistic autonomy as to be at ease in daily life and able to work in an international working team. Acquire new professional skills to improve their chances of getting a job. For our high school - Enrich the professional skills and educational practices of the teachers, be more in contact with the companies - Develop a coherent network of partners in Europe. They will have to think and develop a personalized professional project (objectives of their internship), be able to manage the budget given to them and organize their local transports and visits. We have created two groups to control the project and be sure that everything will run smoothly (Groupe Technique and Groupe Qualité). They will insure a good financial management and a good progress of the project. We’ll use modern means of cooperation and communication to insure an effective follow-up of the trainees Results and impacts for the sending organization: Perpetuate the European image of our school with partner institutions, student’s families, Carry on developing our partnerships abroad, promote the European Programs among teachers in order to get them involved For the participants: The skills acquired by the participants will be given an official value by obtaining the Europass which certifies the acquired skills and will bring a new professional asset to the future professionals. The diploma "Passport Professionnel Européen" (Award we created in 2003 accredited by all the partners). The Certificate Europro from the Regional educational authority aims at recognizing the European dimension of the students’ scolarship. These documents are essential elements for the future studies or job applications of the students.
