Theatre & Democracy” is a project dedicated to youth. The exchange will have place in a countryside, where day by day through debates, discutions, group working, improvisation and mainly drama workshops, we will deal with issues like democracy, society, election, European Union problems. Our exchnage will last one week and it will involve 43 people from 7 countries.The purpose of the exchange is to integrate young people from diffrent parts of Europe and show the diffrences and similarities of problems that we all face together as generation starting an adult life. During the exchange we would like to look for the connection between theater and democracy and try to go back to the roots in ancient Greece. The exchange provide young people with a role in their society and within Europe. Through acting, drama and theatre workshops we want to go back to the start of European culture and society. Creating a drama piece will be our way to express the issues, problems and ideas of modern global world. We want to encorage young people to participacte in social and political life. Show the opportunity of being a part of political life not only our local communities but also countries and UE as well. The group of experts will lead the activities giving a huge space for creativity and involvement of participants. As the result of our exchange we want to present a theater play to local community which will show the ideas of democracy. We would like to encourge young people to get involved at a local and international level. To remind them that their „voice” is important and can be influential in the future.
