The massification not only brought to school a cultural and socially heterogeneous youth population, such as transfers to the resolution of this vocational training problems of social integration, civic education, moral, ecological, etc., that is, such a charge responsibilities that can not be assumed solely by the school. It is therefore necessary sharing of responsibility between all entities, and it is up to the council the role of facilitator and promoter of this partnership within their educational territory in order to promote and ensure good qualification of education professionals as motors leading to improvement of teaching-learning processes and, consequently, improving educational achievement. This project appears to address needs identified in Schools such as educational attainment, educational services; school organization and management; the interdepartmental coordination practices between cycles; monitoring processes and supervision of teaching practice in the classroom; difficulty in integrating some students from different cultures and students with special educational needs, lack of motivation and lack of interest of students by school life. These problems identified, directly or indirectly, give rise to problems of absenteeism and school failure and, consequently, early school leaving. Given the aforementioned context, five main objectives have been proposed:1. improve the skills of professionals to meet the individual needs of learners and to address their social, cultural and linguistic diversity;2. improve skills in the management and direction of schools of schools;3. develop the capacity and international dimension of schools;4. extend the knowledge of other cultural and educational realities;5. improve language skills.The five activities proposed by The school we have & the school we want are part of the job category shadowing (observation and analysis of the functioning of other European schools), lasting six days each and are intended to 6 participants (making a total of 30 mobilities) that taking into account the specificity of activity, drive to school management elements, the school assembly members, department coordinators, coordinators, teachers of the subject areas of mathematics, teachers wishing to develop ICT foreign language teachers, special education teachers. Project activities focus on the importance of team work in order to increase the quality of education and quality education, facing the internationalization, which enhances multilingualism, multicultural education, educational attainment, being directed to the room of context classroom and how teachers should streamline, organize and evaluate group work, whether in the classroom or at work with their peers. Topics such as leadership, communication, inclusion and multiculturalism, innovative and motivating methodologies in the prevention of failure and early school leaving, creative approach to curriculum, feedback and steps for running a workgroup are intended to be worked out theoretical and practical way. These activities will be organized in several countries (Iceland, Malta, Bulgaria, Latvia and Turkey) and institutions with obvious quality results in the field of learning throughout life. The ha project take place in several stages: job mobility shadowing abroad; periods of dissemination and implementation of good European practices acquired in Schools; dissemination of times at regional, national and international level; evaluation periods.Results and impacts are related to the development and training of human resources in the field of education, allowing them to learn new skills and the experience of other school settings, which will allow not only the acquisition of new knowledge but also the enhancing personal fulfillment, increase participation in learning throughout life; promote knowledge and the diversity of languages; exploit results, innovative products and processes both in education and educational policy, school management and administration, as well as in the context of educational projects and support. At the level of the participating organizations, it is extremely important this project, as the professionals involved acquiring valid knowledge and new tools to promote their work skills in a European context and to promote this dimension in the activities that may develop in the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira. Building bridges with new European partners which may result other activities and projects within the European Union is looking ahead, thus its internationalization. The quality of educational activities will have a positive impact on student learning.
