The Rhythm of Volunteering is a short-term EVS project that will be implemented by the Cluj-Napoca Volunteer Centre under Action 2 of the YiA Programme. The project includes 8 EVS volunteers from Venezuela,Portugal,France,Italy and Azerbaijan that over a period of 2 months will work in the local community to promote volunteering and volunteer work.The project aims at creating the proper environment for the 8 volunteers to develop and grow in areas such as communication skills, acceptance and tolerance, understanding of diversity, etc. At the same time, the project offers the volunteers a chance to put into practice their specific abilities.The main task of the volunteers will be related to the National Volunteer Week, an event that takes place each year at national level and tries to raise the awareness of local communities on volunteering. The 8 EVS volunteers will organise 4 public events that will focus on volunteering and better understanding the relationship with active citizenship and involvement.
