The “PRO-JECT” is the result of the cooperation of 7 different organizations participants in a PBA held on March 2014, in Vila da Marmeleira, Portugal. Youngsters 17 - 22(5) years old, with fewer opportunities, coming from different backgrounds and 5 countries (Austria, Albania, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany) with an interest in the field of non-formal education and environmental topics, will meet in Belgium from October the 27th till November the 1st. They aim to exchange good practices among the partners, in order to develop a long term strategy for youth exchanges about environmental topics, by getting to know the needs and the interests of the youngsters involved in the project, by bring them in a process of active participation and voicing their peers, by fostering the mobility of young people with fewer opportunities and by providing the information about the opportunities of Erasmus Plus. In order to achieve the expected results, there will be used interactive presentations, photo exhibition, games and icebreakers. Formal, non-formal and in-formal methods will be used to carry out the tasks of the project. Project proposals spinning-off will have an impact in the respective local communities. Youngsters will develop and improve skills, competences and knowledge useful for life-long learning process. They will be able to plan and design their own projects. The fact that the project is organized by European NGOs, takes place in a European country, has a European impact, last but not least, is financed by European Union gives to it an added value.
