The project aims at intensification and strengthening of the durable cooperation on a social, economic and environmental plan between Baia Mare, Romania and Ivano Frankivsk and Kolomya Municipalities Ukraine through joint initiatives in the field of bio degradable wastes collecting and recovering. It will improve the environment quality and the durable management of natural resources by planning and realizing some efficient systems of collecting and handling wastes. Expected Results: Estimated results: Improving the cross border cooperation through a joint approach of the bio degradable wastes management in the three partner cities; Knowledge and experience transfer between the three partner cities; Increasing the level of environmental education and efficient usage of natural resources through surveys, information and awareness campaigns; Creating the infrastructure and the necesary equipment for implementing the bio degradable wastes management; Reducing the quantities of deposited final wastes by salvaging the bio degradable component; Creating new jobs through a more efficient integrated system of urbane wastes management; Rehabilitation of some green spaces by recovering the resulted compost form the bio degradable wastes; Reducing the final public costs of the wastes integrated management; Improving the quality of environment and the health of the citizens
