Objectives of the project include improvement of activities locally for children, youth, families, youth workers, contribution in prevention of early school leaving, creation of space for development of volunteers’ skills and competencies to increase their employability, exchange of knowledge and skills in youth free time facilitation and introduction of local youth with possibilities to gain valuable experience in voluntary activities, which may remarkably increase their employability. The main targeted beneficiaries are children and youth (living at orphanage and attending children and youth day care centre) having psychological traumas (due to lack of care) which make huge impact on their behavior and motivation to study and learn. Hosting organizations highly value prevention of “losing children”, so they give big effort to provide safe environment for free time activities, to assist in doing homework, to give the feeling of trust and care, to teach basic social skills. Volunteers will help to scale up activities, make them more attractive. All the activities will be based on non formal education principles and will be directed to increase employability of volunteers and variety of motivating and practically useful activities for children and youth in remote rural areas.
