The aim of this project is to improve the quality of Circus Teaching around Europe.With this project we will hold different activities between professional circus people (teachers, artists, schools, directors, administration, management, etc) to get a clearer idea of the Circus situation in Europe and to improve the methods of teaching.Our activities program in Europe will aim to achieve around 40 MOBILITIES in two years.THREE COORDINATION MEETINGS:Starting the project, a feedback meeting in the middle of the project and an evaluation meeting at the end of the project.TEACHERS AND LEARNERS MEETINGS:Mobilities will be carried out in this way: 1. Visit the partners:Visits to the home areas of our partners, to interchange experience and knowledge of the circus association’s situation, and also visit the local circus schools, and observe the difference between the countries.2. Programmed visits to the Circus schools of the country:We will go to the most prestigious circus school of each country to see how they run a school, and the different ways they structure teaching and teaching programs. We will have members from the associations participate in each of the five disciplines (juggling, aerial skills, acrobatics, physical theatre, equilibrist) at the circus schools so they can meet the teachers and experience different teaching styles.3. Five Master Classes about:Circus teaching and circus schools management: a 3 or 4 day course with an important and experimented circus authority (teacher, director, artist) about circus teaching, the situation in Europe, and the official school certificates.Technical workshops in circus skills: to interchange experiences and learn new pedagogic techniques in the five circus areas.
