The main objective of the project is a full usage of spa, historic and tourism potential of partner places of Horyniec-Zdroj (PL) and Morshyn (UA) to increase tourist flow which in turn will lead to the creation of new jobs and income increase in the sectors of culture, tourism and indirect tourist services.One of specific goals is complex development and management of spa parks in Horyniec-Zdroj and Morshyn as the space for rest and recreation of local inhabitants, tourists and health resort visitors. Next thing is Increasing the number of domestic and foreign tourists in the two partner towns and thus stimulation of economic development on the basis of the tourism sector. Projects assumption is to use of cultural and sports objects to create attractive offer to draw tourists attention, and closer co-operation between the communities of the partner towns.Implementation of the project gives a chance for the development of both rural commune Horyniec-Zdrój and its Ukrainian urban partner town Morshyn. The activities planned in the project are designed for both partners to stimulate the development of tourism in this area, as well as have an impact on local Polish and Ukrainian communities, to foster cooperation, mutual understanding and cultivate common culture and tradition of border areas. This is especially important because of the difficult history and accumulating of mutual prejudices in the older generation. To prevent acquiring such behavior by the youth, it is necessary to establish the close cooperation, aimed at understanding, common actions and development of both towns. Joint activities on both sides of the border will contribute to exchange of experience and "best practice" procedures between the partners. This gives a possibility of mutual updates and developing new cooperation projects in future as well as strengthen good-neighborly relations between the partners.
