The project “The courage of other’s opinions; imagine, create, live. An active citizenship simulation”, will be held at The House Laboratory Cerquosino, a few kilometers from Orvieto Italy, in a natural protected area. The dates of the activities there are 20 - July 31, 2014 The countries involved are: Italy Romania Turkey Hungary and Estonia. Each group partecipating at the exchange is composed by young people with fewer opportunities due to social, economical, familar obstacles. The context where the House Laboratory is located facilitate the simulation of the active citizenship and reception of groups for collective experiences. Main objective is to start up a process of personal growth through sharing a collective experience. The theme we have chosen for this exchange, social inclusion, active citizenship strengthen the spirit of initiative of young people, their creativity and their entrepreneurship, solidarity and their ability to collaborate with and beyond the differences. The simulated places its bases on the concept-metaphor of a "neo born Village" is organized, growing, working, sharing rules, needs, goals and paths By managing and sharing the path, laboratory activities, games of knowledge focused on the methodology of non formal education, the exchange“The courage of other’s opinions; imagine, create, live. An active citizenship simulation”,is a real simulation of active citizenship in order to provide participants with new tools usefull to cope with certain aspects of their discomfort. The simulation is a true "active laboratory of needs". The basic function of the simulated is to focus on the needs and interests of the participants, the value aspect that characterizes the simulated is that that focuses on the needs and interest of the subjects they learn; constitutes a sort of thermometer of the cognitive levels of departure, as well as the needs and motivations of which the participants themselves are carriers, and that tend to be marginalized and deprived from disadvantaged social contexts in which individuals live and grow. Does not merely record the "needs input" the simulated also allows to generate new needs by being home to the production of culture because context information - research and creativity. The project therefore aims to: • Valuing young people by promoting and strengthening resource opportunities for autonomy and proper leadership, taking the young as the subject of planning and action. • Valuing cultural and ethnic diversity. Prevent delinquency and dependency • Systematic involvement of stakeholders in the analysis of the results. • Adaptability to the times and the ways the personal characteristics of all young involved • Being able to promote project actions • Take into account different points of view and lead them back to a shared synthesis • Being able to foresee obstacles and make decisions, make choices • Valuing constructive relationship with each other, perceived as a resource for both individual and social growth • Competence on non violent conflict management of the of the undeniable conflicts between different identities All facilitated by the responsible of the exchange, which, in addition to proposing ideas and activities will be required to bring out aspects appropriate for each proposal will come. The project is designed so that young people can also give ideas as well as concrete proposals and experience it during the exchange, so that they can be reproduced in their countries of origin. It will be a valuable learning experience for the encounter of different cultures and countries in Europe, so far apart.
