Project »Tell me your story: the power of a Different view« adresses migrant issues and their accepptance in our society. In these days migrants are becoming present in our local environments. Majority of populations feels fear ad hate towards them and do not accept them. With this project we want to make change. We want to spread tolerance and share positive stories about migrants and refugees. Because the media and internet have big power to infulence at people's mind, we will use them as channels to spread positive content and project results. Beside in-depth learning about migrant issues, which is the basis for our work, we will also learn about media power and the possibilities that they offer.The exchange will take place in Slovenia. It will bring together participants from 7 countries: Slovenia, Malta, Macedonia, Greece, Turkey, Germany and Poland. All these countries are involved in migrant crisis, but in very different ways. Exchange, which will be held from 17th to 26th of June will be attended by 44 young people and youth leaders aged between 16 and 30 years.The knowledge and experieces will be learned through various forms of non-formal education, such as various interactive workshops, fieldwork, informal meetings, workshops, video production and other media productions, etc. The participants will gain a broad range of competences. Among other things, they will learn how to prepare different media content, power of the media and its possibility to influence the masses. They will address one of the biggest issues in modern Europe, which will have an impact both on individuals and on the future of Europe.Through the involvement of local media and the public, project will also promote Erasmus + Youth in Action programe.
